WHAT IS AN ADHESIVE TAPE?

Adhesive tape is a strip of material having adhesive properties, which means that with moderate pressure it can adhere to different surfaces under normal temperature conditions. The tape does not need heat, wetting or anything else, just a simple push for its adhesion to a surface.

TWO TYPOLOGIES OF BAND:

- SINGLE SIDED RIBBONS

- DOUBLE-SIDED RIBBONS

SINGLE TAPE: THE ADHESIVE IS APPLIED ONLY TO ONE SIDE OF THE FILM OR BACKING.

DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE: THE ADHESIVE IS APPLIED TO BOTH SIDES OF THE BACKING AND, UNLIKE THE SIDED TAPE, IT INCLUDES A THIRD LAYER: THE LINER. THE COATING IS USUALLY MADE OF BI-SILICONE PAPER, BUT IT MAY ALSO COME IN A DIFFERENT MATERIAL.
